Recognise employees

In order to increase the value and satisfaction of employees, create an action plan to raise awareness of the roles and contributions of employees, including how and in what context to recognise employees in both 'vertical' and 'horizontal' plans, including e.g. mapping, discussing, and implementing work in accordance with best practices (preferably with the help of a work psychologist).

Discuss possible wording (known as a word or phrase book) for how to convey recognition and praise for employees with different levels of company leadership.

Think through and implement well-functioning communication about employee expectations and verbal feedback, including performance output agreements, and metrics at the value level.

Communicate and acknowledge proposals made by employees, for example, as recognition campaigns, good idea awards, etc., in an inclusive way.

Reward or publicly recognise employees.
