Emotions are an important part of being human. They have accompanied us every day since birth. Without emotions, a person’s life would be a monotonous course without feeling anything. The birth of a child would not cause joy, the loss of a loved one’s sadness and grief, a surprise wouldn’t be a surprise, or the injustice wouldn’t cause anger and frustration. The better we know our emotions, the better we can control and direct them.
